When my sister called to ask what I thought about ceramic wall flowers, I immediately pictured those hideous porcelain bouquets our grandmother used to collect – dusty arrangements that looked like they’d been salvaged from a retirement home garage sale. “It’s for above my couch,” she explained, as if that somehow made it better.
